DETAILED SYNOPSIS:
This one-hour special hosted by Peter Graves, features a spellbinding look at the legends and the lore as well as the facts surrounding these intriguing and frightening entities.

Included in this hour of bizarre case histories are interviews with present day vampires, investigations into the practices of modern witches and a look at the psychological and medical disorders which cause people to believe that they are werewolves.

We go in search of the real Dracula and find him. We tell the true stores of modern day vampires such as John George Haigh, the English vampire, who murdered for both blood and money and we meet more benign modern-day vampires such as Catrina Coffin who lives the fantasy. We investigate a case of Lycanthropy where a 49 year old woman believes and behaves as a wolf -- and we learn the hows and whys of such behavior.

All these true stories are supplemented by film-clips, reenactments, news and documentary footage.

WITCHES, WEREWOLVES AND VAMPIRES retells the classic tales and then goes further by revealing the factual and amazing side of these stores.

What you’ll discover is that sometimes the truth is more terrifying that fiction.
