DEATH OF A DYNASTY
Enter the closed doors of Damon Dash's and Jay-Z's hip-hop empire, Roc-a-Fella Records. Dave Katz (Ebon Moss-Bacharch) a young journalist at a hip-hop magazine, is sent on assignment to uncover the dirt inside the world's hottest record company. Dave believes he is a member of the "Roc team" and privy to daily exclusive inside scoops. But he is actually "double dipping", and at the same time feeding sordid gossip stories about the feuding partners to the magazine's biggest competition. The journalist thinks he is a real "playa", only to later find out that he is the one being played.
